Holt McCallany (“Mindhunter”) will be hunting a serial killer once again in the upcoming thriller Hyde, and Deadline brings us the first word about the project this week.
Graham Phillips and Parker Phillips (Rumble Through the Dark) are directing Hyde.
Holt McCallany stars as Detective Grimes, a haunted investigator descending into the decaying underbelly of a crumbling metropolis while hunting a brutal serial killer.
The film’s cast also includes Bruce Greenwood (The Fall of the House of Usher), Nathalie Emmanuel (Game of Thrones) and David Harewood (Homeland).
Graham and Parker Phillips also wrote the screenplay.
The brothers said in a statement to Deadline, “We’re thrilled to be working with such intelligent and collaborative actors. Everyone arrived with bold ideas, strong instincts, and a real willingness to explore and take risks, all against the backdrop of Bucharest, whose architecture and atmosphere feel tailor-made for this twisted tale.”
