Sci-fi thriller Final Invasion is gearing up to face an alien threat when it enters production in New Mexico, and Deadline reports it’s lined up its cast.
Emile Hirsch (The Autopsy of Jane Doe), Anthony Michael Hall (Halloween Kills, Halloween Store), Claire Forlani (Meet Joe Black) and Stephen Lang (Avatar, Sisu: Road to Revenge) are set to star.
Final Invasion sees “a mysterious UAP satellite crashes in the New Mexico desert. It unleashes a rapidly mutating extraterrestrial organism that infects all life on Earth, including humans, animals, and the planet’s ecosystems, triggering an extinction-level event.
“A decorated Navy SEAL commander (Hall); famed rear admiral (Lang); determined small-town police officer (Hirsch) and brilliant CDC physician (Forlani) must overcome military secrecy, political interference, and impossible odds to save humanity.“
The screenplay is written by producer Patricia A. Beninati, with Michael K. Anderson and Jeff Knight. Josh Sternfeld (Fortress: Sniper’s Eye) directs.
“We’re building Final Invasion around extraordinary actors who bring authenticity, emotional depth, and global appeal,” said Beninati. “Emile Hirsch, Anthony Michael Hall, Claire Forlani, and Stephen Lang each elevate the material in unique ways. Combined with Josh Sternfeld’s grounded filmmaking style, we’re creating a theatrical sci-fi experience that feels both timely and unforgettable.”
Expect additional casting announcements to arrive once production gets underway.
