Would you watch The Blair Witch Project in the woods? Jaws in the ocean? How about the upcoming sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint… while standing on an elevated platform?
The Fall franchise heads to a new location with new characters in the horror sequel Fall 2: Deadpoint, which is headed to theaters nationwide on September 2, 2026.
But before that…
On Saturday, August 22, a select group of moviegoers will be invited to experience Fall 2 in a way that places them squarely in the action – and off of solid ground.
Two immersive screenings will be held in Los Angeles that transform the film’s central premise of being trapped at a dizzying height into a unique, real-world viewing experience. Rather than watching from a traditional theater seat, attendees will be challenged to stand on elevated platforms for the entire screening, testing their balance and endurance as the tension builds on screen. The activation is designed to bring the core thrills of the film to life, tapping into the fear of heights, as well as the exposure, vulnerability, and survival that define Fall 2: Deadpoint.
With one simple rule: stay on the ledge for the entire movie, the experience becomes a test of who can truly go the distance. Who will be the last person standing?
Harriet Slater (Tarot) stars in the upcoming Fall 2: Deadpoint alongside Arsema Thomas (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”) and Tom Brittney (Greyhound).
Michael & Peter Spierig (Predestination, Jigsaw) direct Fall 2: Deadpoint from a script by Fall writers Scott Mann (who also directed the original) and Jonathan Frank.
In Fall 2: Deadpoint, “After losing her fearless sister Hunter, a deeply damaged Jax sets out on a dangerous climb with Hunter’s old friend to honor her memory. As they tightrope walk the perilous planks of Mount Kwan, a terrifying rockslide leaves them stranded 5,000 feet above ground.
“In the face of vertigo-inducing sequences, dark truths, and cruel twists, Jax must confront her deepest fears head-on to fight for survival and closure.”
