Director Alex Ullom’s existential horror hangout movie It Ends debuts in theaters this weekend, and Ullom is already hard at work on his next horror movie: 4 X 4: The Event.
Deadline has revealed the main cast of 4 X 4: The Event this afternoon.

Spooky Pictures and Image Nation recently came on board to produce Alex Ullom’s 4 X 4: The Event, which is being compared to Battle Royale, Saw, and Climax. NEON will distribute.
Deadline previews in their exclusive report this afternoon, “The film, which recently wrapped principal photography, follows eight contestants as they enter an illegal sensory-assault livestream where they must kill or be killed using only what they can order online.”
Steven Schneider (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, Pet Sematary) and Roy Lee (Weapons, It, The Ring) will produce alongside Adam Hendricks and Greg Gilreath’s Divide / Conquer (Black Phone 2, M3GAN). Image Nation’s CEO Ben Ross will executive produce.
But first up, It Ends marks the feature debut for Alex Ullom. The horror movie will open in New York & LA theaters on August 21 before expanding to more theaters the following week.
