Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows) is set to produce the upcoming action thriller Scope for Netflix, which is being compared to films like Disturbia and Hitchcock’s Rear Window.
Deadline reports that Ray Mendoza (Warfare) will direct Scope.
The project is said to be a “mystery action thriller.”
The outlet details, “The story follows a battle-hardened special forces operator returning home to recuperate from a traumatizing injury who gets caught up in an unexpected suburban mystery.”
Charley & Vlas Parlapanides (Blood of Zeus) and Scott Charnick wrote the script.
Jaume Collet-Serra and Max Jacoby will produce through Jadis Collective.
