The Halloween music gurus Midnight Syndicate have announced their next release and it’s quite the departure from their normal fare! The composing duo of Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka are creating a soundtrack to Twilight Creations’ hit board game “ZOMBIES!!!”, which currently has over 15 expansions, many of which are based on the zombie/undead films of George A. Romero and Sam Raimi.
Douglas excitedly states:
I’m a big fan of Zombies!!! With the game celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2016, it seemed like the perfect time to undertake this project. We’re working closely with the Twilight team to create something that really enhances their players’ gaming experience. I think album will also resonate with our fans in the Halloween and haunted house industries.
Gavin Goszka adds that there is a challenge to this album, “Musically, it will be interesting to work in a modern setting. Most of our albums have been set in the Victorian and early 20th century, so this will definitely be something different and exciting for us and our fans.”
Fans can look forward to hearing the album this September (tentative release date), which sees it come out at the same time as the “Zombies!!! Ultimate Collector Set” and “Zombies!!! Ultimate Upgrade Kit”.
