Shock rocker/director Rob Zombie has released a new video for his track “Get High”, which comes from the upcoming album The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser (out April 29th).
Talking with Rolling Stone (where you can also watch the video), Zombie explains the inspiration of the video:
I always loved the way Elvis looked on his comeback special standing in front of a giant ‘ELVIS’ sign. So I figured let’s do that, but instead of my name it will say ‘GET HIGH.’ It’s a simple message for everyone.
On top of this upcoming release, which will see the singer hit the road for many tour dates, Zombie also is looking forward to the wide release of his horror film 31, which was picked up by Saban for a theatrical run this September.
