Deftones have released a very trippy and psychedelic video for their single “Prayers/Triangles”, which comes from their latest album Gore (review). Directed by Charles Bergquist, the video mixes performance footage and scenes of vocalist Chino Moreno running through a nighttime Los Angeles and then takes it all and runs it through acid-like splashes of color and tunneled triangles.
As many of you know, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the new record. However, this was one of the songs I really enjoyed and I’m happy to see it getting pushed out there. It’s a beautiful track and deserves all the love it can get.
