Thrash metal titans Megadeth have released an amazing 360° video for their track “Poisonous Shadows”, which comes from their latest album Dystopia (review). What does that mean? It means that on your computer, you can use your mouse to drag the camera around to focus on whatever you want to see. On your phone, Brad tells me you can actually just move your phone around without touching your screen.
I gotta tell you all, this shit blows my damn mind. Never in my youth could you have convinced me that I could manipulate pre-recorded video like this video allows you to do. Little things like this just reaffirm how innovative of a time we’re living in and I’m thrilled that I’m seeing things like this happen.
