White Zombie Release Previously Unheard Track “Scarecrow #2”

Before he was digging through the ditches with his “Dragula”, Rob Zombie was the frontman of New York City metal band White Zombie, which produced such classic tracks as “More Human Than Human” and “Thunderkiss ’65”. Alas, the band wouldn’t last and ultimately broke up in 1998.

But for fans of the group, this June will see a very cool release in the form of It Came From N.Y.C., a box set that will include five LPs or three CDs that have 39 early and remastered tracks, and a 108-page photo-packed hardcover book that goes through the early history of the group. You can pre-order the set right here.

Over at WSJ, they’ve got an interview with bassist Sean Yseult that is absolutely worth checking out. But the real money shot that they offered is a first-listen to the unreleased track “Scarecrow #2”, which you can listen to below.
