David Lynch’s Music Festival is Not What it Seems

I absolutely love David Lynch. The man never fit into mainstream Hollywood and yet he built such a strong fanbase that he’s been able to make some truly amazing things happen. From movies to TV shows to creating his own foundation, Lynch has carved his own path from which he never strayed, always staying true to himself.

Case in point: Lynch has announced that he has created his own music festival in the form of David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption, which takes place October 8th and 9th at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles, CA. The event will feature, “…two full days and nights of music, art, virtual reality, films, talks and more.”

Performances include Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters, St. Vincent, Rhye, and Jon Hopkins along with a Music of Twin Peaks event featuring performances by Angelo Badalamenti, Sky Ferreira (who is in the upcoming third season), and Xiu Xiu. Additionally, there will be talks given by Mel Brooks, Kyle MacLachlan, and Laura Dern, as well as Debbie Harry (Blondie) and Chris Stein.

More information, including ticket ordering options, can be found at the official website.
