Earlier this year, we reported that Tiger Lab Vinyl was going to be releasing Masahiro Ikumi‘s score to the psychological thriller anime Perfect Blue. Today, we’re able to bring you more details in the form of the track list as well as images of the packaging and artwork, which was created by Sam Pfannkuche.
Directed by Satoshi Kon, who also directed “Paranoia Agent” and Paprika, Perfect Blue follows, “A retired pop-singer-turned-actress [whose] sense of reality is shaken when she is stalked by an obsessed fan and seemingly a ghost of her past.” The film, which has been likened to something one would see from Alfred Hitchcock, was critically acclaimed upon release and made several end-of-year lists in 1997.
