Warner Drive Issues “Anthem of the Douche” Video (Exclusive)

Published

on

We’ve teamed up with Hollywood rock band Warner Drive to bring you the exclusive music video premiere for their latest single “Anthem of the Douche”. As you can probably guess, the video is a love letter to the guy who will do everything in his power to be the douchiest fella walking the streets. Of course, everyone around said man is less than thrilled to even interact with him in any way, shape, or form.

Vocalist Jonny Law tells Bloody-Disgusting, “Growing up here in LA, I watched so many people in bands change their image faster than the wind changes direction, but there’s a little bit of that in all of us… we’re all douche bags. I don’t think any of us can look back at our high school year books and say, “Oh yeah, I looked good back then” – And if you CAN do that, then you’re an even bigger douche than the rest of us! So this is an anthem for the people…. “The Anthem Of The Douche”

You can buy the single via iTunes.

Guitarist Candice Levinson adds:

A huge thank you goes out to all of those who made this video possible, including all the Warner Drive fans who volunteered to be a part of the process and helped us cary out our vision. We want to give special thanks as well to video director Wes Alley and editor/VFX Tom Bohan in helping us make this video as ridiculous as possible! We had a lot of fun filming this video throughout several Los Angeles area locations and we can’t wait for you to see it. You will laugh, you will shake your head, and you may even want to unsee it…but you will definitely be entertained!

Director Wesley Alley explains:

This was video was so much fun to make, the actors, the crew, the band, and I all laughed the entire time. It was a tough video to make. We did it all on our own; the band and I, self funded, self made, and of course like any micro production everything that could go wrong did go wrong, but we made it, and are super proud of it! Its ridiculous and funny, and silly, and hilarious, and strange, etc. For every one thing that went wrong, we were able to get 10 things right, and we smiled and laughed and had an amazing time. I hope everyone watching has as good as time!
