The 1987 horror/adventure film The Monster Squad was one of my favorite movies growing up. I must have watched it dozens of times, relishing the thought of children taking charge and proving to their parents and the rest of the grown ups that they were capable, brave, and determined.
Today, Mondo has revealed more information for their full score vinyl release from composer Bruce Broughton in the form of the Gary Pullin-designed cover artwork, which was premiered by the folk over at AICN. Head on down to check it out.
Written by Fred Dekker and Shane Black and directed by Dekker, the film follows, “A young group of monster fanatics [who] attempt to save their hometown from Count Dracula and his monsters.”
