Metallica Release New Track “Moth Into Flame”
Bay Area thrash metal masters Metallica have released a video for their new track “Moth Into Flame”, which comes from the upcoming album Hardwired…To Self Destruct.

The track is pretty different from the first single “Hardwired“, which I felt was a return to the band’s punk-influenced roots. Instead, “Moth Into Flame” is a more modern sound, taking elements off The Black Album and Load while sounding like a progression from those albums. Honestly? I dig this track a lot! It’s fun, it’s catchy, James sounds huge, Kirk’s guitar solo is HEAPS better than “Hardwired”‘s, and Lars absolutely blasts the drums on here. I can already tell that this track is going to be absolutely incredible when played live.
Hardwired…To Self Destruct comes out November 18th via the band’s own Blackened Records. Pre-orders are available through Metallica.com.
After appearing in Rob Zombie’s music videos and movies over the years, Sheri Moon Zombie (The Devil’s Rejects) has now released her own debut single and music video, I Love My Robot. The video, which you can watch below, was directed by husband Rob Zombie.
The track playfully takes a jab at the use of Generative AI in the arts.
The official press release details, “Helmed by acclaimed producer Zeuss and accompanied by a video directed by Rob Zombie, the track blends retro sci-fi, playful camp, and infectious hooks into an irresistibly offbeat anthem that is unmistakably Sheri.

A limited edition picture disc vinyl featuring “I Love My Robot” on Side A and Rob Zombie’s “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” on Side B is now available for pre-order. Only 600 copies are being released worldwide, and it’ll be available on October 30, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
