Earlier this year, director Ilya Naishuller’s Hardcore Henry came out and kicked the asses of audiences all over the place (check out Brad’s review). It seems that a lot of people were taken with the explosive and action-packed style that Naishuller brings to the table, which is almost certainly why Canadian musician/producer The Weeknd teamed up with him to create a music video for his track “False Alarm”.
The video follows a group of bank robbers who kidnap a young woman to keep as a hostage. As the minutes progress, more and more crazy shit happens, including an execution, a car chase, explosions, and shoot outs with the police. It’s pure chaos and it’s damn well done!
