You can’t see IT until next month, but you can HEAR it right now!
Ahead of the release of Andy Muschietti’s IT, WaterTower Music has just put two tracks from composer Benjamin Wallfisch‘s score up today for your listening pleasure. The tracks are titled “Pennywise’s Tower” and “You’ll Float Too,” and they allow you to preview the haunting sounds that will accompany the terrifying visuals.
“Every now and again, you come across a movie where the storytelling is so powerful, the subtext so visceral, the synergy between director, narrative and actors so palpable, that as a composer you can feel the music being energized by something so much bigger than what’s just on the screen,” Wallfisch told EW of composing the score.
Wallfisch’s IT score will be released digitally and on CD come September 8, same day the movie comes out, while a vinyl release will follow on October 27.
