Marilyn Manson Covers The Doors’ “The End” for “The Stand”; Create Your Own Covers EP! [Listen]
I’ve always wanted a Marilyn Manson covers album.
With today’s release of his rendition of The Doors‘ “The End” (below), you can already create your own EP playlist that includes his interpretation of Gerard McMahon‘s “Cry Little Sister”, which is the theme song to Joel Schumacher’s 1987 The Lost Boys, his officially recorded cover of The Beatles‘ “Helter Skelter” with Rob Zombie, and more recently, his take on the folk standard “God’s Gonna Cut You Down”, which was previously recorded by Odetta, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
“The End” was recorded for the Stephen King miniseries The Stand from CBS All Access.
Manson will also star in the new adaptation.
After appearing in Rob Zombie’s music videos and movies over the years, Sheri Moon Zombie (The Devil’s Rejects) has now released her own debut single and music video, I Love My Robot. The video, which you can watch below, was directed by husband Rob Zombie.
The track playfully takes a jab at the use of Generative AI in the arts.

A limited edition picture disc vinyl featuring “I Love My Robot” on Side A and Rob Zombie’s “Sir Lord Acid Wolfman” on Side B is now available for pre-order. Only 600 copies are being released worldwide, and it’ll be available on October 30, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
