Norma Jean ‘Meridional’ Now Available For Pre-Order

Norma Jean’s highly anticipated album, Meridional, is officially available for presale.  Presale packages will be available in four tiers.  Regardless of what package fans choose, when ordering from www.normajeannoise.com, all presales include an instant download of “Deathbed Atheist,” the second new song from the album after “Leaderless and Self Enlisted.”

The standard package for $10 includes the Meridional physical CD as well as the ability to digitally download the album on release day, July 13th.  For fans interested in merchandise, the Standard + T-Shirt package is available for $25.  This tier includes both the physical and digital albums, as well as an exclusive t-shirt that can only be purchased through the presale.  The Deluxe package includes the physical and digital albums, the exclusive t-shirt, and a 2 Disc 180 Gram Gatefold Vinyl edition of Meridional for $50.  The $75 option includes all of the above merchandise as well as a 12″x12″ lithograph of the Meridional album artwork, authographed by all the members of Norma Jean.

Meridional’s release coincides with the stsart of the Mayhem Festival where Norma Jean will be playing on the Mayhem Festival Stage with Atreyu, In This Moment, and 3 Inches Of Blood.  Mayhem Festival headliners include Korn, Rob Zombie, Lamb Of God, and Five Finger Death Punch.  Norma Jean recently returned from a short-run tour with Every Time I Die, supported by Cancer Bats.
The five-piece metal band from Atlanta is Cory Brandon (vocals/guitar), Scottie Henry (guitar), Jake Schultz (bass), Chris Day (guitar) and Chris Raines (drums).  They have previously released four records prior to Meridional, selling over 365,000 albums.  The Grammy-nominated band is known for their artistically chaotic sound which has influenced and resonated with the metal community.

‘The Lost Boys’ Musical Extends Broadway Run With North American Tour Set for Spring 2028

The Lost Boys: A New Musical officially kicked off on Broadway last month, and Deadline now reports that the show’s Broadway run has been extended into next year.

The show was originally set to run through November, but Deadline reports that The Lost Boys: A New Musical “has released a block of tickets through Sunday, March 7, 2027.”

The news comes in the wake of The Lost Boys: A New Musical becoming the most Tony-nominated musical of the season with twelve nominations including Best Musical.

Additionally, “The Lost Boys will launch a North American National Tour in Spring 2028, at Playhouse Square in Cleveland. Additional cities and tour dates will be announced later.”

The Lost Boys: A New Musical is of course an adaptation of the 1987 horror classic from director Joel Schumacher, with the cast including Ali Louis Bourzgui as lead vampire David (originally played by Kiefer Sutherland), Maria Wirries as Star (originally played by Jami Gertz), and LJ Benet as the soon-to-be-turned Michael (originally played by Jason Patric).

The horror musical’s cast also includes Shoshana Bean as Lucy Emerson, Benjamin Pajak as Sam Emerson, Paul Alexander Nolan as Max, Jennifer Duka as Alan Frog, Miguel Gil as Edgar Frog, Brian Flores as Marko, Sean Grandillo as Dwayne, and Dean Maupin as Paul.

The Lost Boys: A New Musical is Directed by Michael Arden, featuring Music and Lyrics by The Rescues, Book by David Hornsby & Chris Hoch, Story by James Jeremias & Janice Fischer, and Produced by James Carpinello, Marcus Chait & Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures.

Joel Schumacher directed the original The Lost Boys vampire movie in 1987, wherein two brothers move to a new town and discover that the area is a haven for vampires.
