Torchlight Sets The World Aflame
Runic Games, the minds behind the dungeon crawler RPG Torchlight have just announced that their game has officially passed the coveted million sold mark, across all three platforms (PC, Mac, XBLA). This game certainly deserves the success, I praised its gorgeous hand drawn visuals and tight dungeon crawling gameplayin my review, and since then it’s sucked about 30 hours of my life from me. That’s a long time to be playing an arcade game.

A boost in sales was undoubtedly caused by Torchlight’s Deal of the Week promotion on Xbox Live as well as its 4th of July sale on Steam. Really people, if you haven’t taken the time to play this game you owe it to yourself to do so, if only to get warmed up for its upcoming sequel.
