‘Return to Sleepaway Camp’ Coming This October?!
SLEEPAWAY CAMP star Felissa Rose just revealed via her MySpace blog that the long, long, long delayed Return to Sleepaway Camp is finally arriving on DVD this October. “ I was just told that will be out on DVD in October,” she writes. “Sounds pretty good, from a reliable source. I will post more info as I receive it.” Directed by Robert Hiltzik, it’s summer camp as usual at Camp Manabe where the kids torment each other for fun while the underpaid camp staff provide as little supervision as possible. Greedy camp owner Frank (Vincent Pastore) and junior partner Ronnie (Paul DeAngelo) do their best to keep everyone in line, but something sinister is about to put a slash in the roster. When campers and staff mysteriously begin disappearing and turning into gruesome corpses, paranoid Ronnie can’t shake the memory of a series of grisly murders that took place at Camp Arawak where he worked 2 decades ago. Has a “ghost” from the past come back to haunt him?
One of contemporary horror’s best werewolf movies is 2017’s Good Manners, and it’s finally set to receive a proper physical media release.

Set in São Paulo, the film follows Clara, a lonely nurse from the outskirts of the city who is hired by mysterious and wealthy Ana to be the nanny of her soon to be born child. Against all odds, the two women develop a strong bond. But a fateful night marked by a full moon changes their plans.
Good Manners is the second collaboration between filmmakers Juliana Rojas and Marco Dutra, who write and direct. Zama’s Rui Poças‘ cinematography captures this unique werewolf tale described as “Disney meets Jacques Tourneur.”
Our own Trace Thurman wrote in his review, “With Good Manners, Rojas and Dutro have made one of the best werewolf movies ever made. That they are able juggle commentaries on racism and classism while still managing to tell two deeply affecting love stories is remarkable.”
