Warner Home Video Bumps ‘The Cell 2’ Release
Warner Home Video has informed Bloody-Disgusting that they have bumped Tim Iacofano’s THE CELL 2 to an undetermined 2009 DVD/Blu-ray date from it’s planned October release. The Cusp is a serial killer who kills his victims and then brings them back to life; over and over again; until they beg to die! Maya is a psychic investigator who gained her powers after a 1 year coma after she was the Cusp’s first victim! Now the Cusp Killer is back and Maya has little time to do what she has never done before, go into the mind of a killer unprotected, and save his latest victim. Tessie Santiago, Chris Bruno, Frank Whaley, Bart Johnson and Charles Halford all star.
Get ready for double the fun, protagonists, and body count when Ready or Not 2: Here I Come explodes on streaming next week.
Just in time for the fireworks, the sequel makes its streaming debut on Hulu and Disney+ on July 2.

I wrote in my review for Bloody Disgusting, “More is more in Ready or Not 2. Bigger stakes, larger playing field, a higher (and more gruesome) body count, and even double the protagonists. It’s all designed to deliver maximum crowd-pleasing fun.”
The horror-comedy sequel is written by Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.
