Early Plot Details For ‘I Am Legend’ Prequel/Sequel?
This morning AICN got an inside tip regarding the storyline for Warner Bros. Pictures’ I Am Legend II, which they’re jokingly referring to as II AM LEGEND (kinda awesome). Beyond the break you can read a little bit about what the plot follows, but they do note that the source isn’t a regular scooper, so make sure to take it with a grain of salt. The sequel is set to be directed by Francis Lawrence, who reteams with star Will Smith.
From an Aint it Cool News tipster:
“Let’s start at the beginning. Smith is actually the one who developed the initial story. It took place several years before the original film and there were still pockets of survivors and the story centered around Smith interacting, bonding, and ultimately failing to save them. For months this was the story. Warner’s didn’t much care for it and Smith and Weiss eventually came on board and all parties agreed to change things up. Well this change is pretty insane, the film is no longer a prequel, it’s a fucking sequel!”

‘Bad Karaoke’ Trailer – The Killer Is an Evil Karaoke Machine in This Horror-Comedy
You may end up rethinking karaoke nights with your friends after you watch the upcoming horror-comedy Bad Karaoke, set to World Premiere on Sunday, August 30 as part of Tubi FrightFest in London. You can preview the film with the official trailer below.
Robert J. Steinmiller Jr. and Chris Lightbody directed Bad Karaoke.
In the film, “When wedding band keyboardist Emily discovers an old karaoke machine in the back of a dive bar, she thinks it will lead to a fun-filled night of singing and bonding with her bandmates. Unfortunately, this karaoke machine seems to have a thirst for blood.”
“When the singing begins, so does the bloodshed.”
“When an excellent performance allows someone to be spared by the machine, the crew think they’ve figured out how to finally beat it. Proven almost immediately wrong, it takes more horrifying deaths and a visit from a mysterious stranger to realize they may have a chance at survival after all.”
Lexi Underwood (“Cruel Summer”), Case Walker (Monster High: The Movie), and Kat Cunning (Purple Hearts) star in the upcoming horror-comedy Bad Karaoke.
Chris Lightbody and Spencer Yaras wrote the screenplay.
“We were inspired to make this film after years of painful karaoke performances nearly put us in an early grave,” the directors said in a statement. “We found that many people have had near-death karaoke experiences and we wanted to play with that idea, as well as say something profound about the state of new music. But instead, we made Bad Karaoke.”
