First ‘Final Destination’ Gets Blu-ray Release
Arriving on Blu-ray April 7th from Warner Home Video is James Wong’s awesome Final Destination. After an eerie premonition leads a handful of passengers to disembark an ill-fated flight, Death with all its ingenious contraptions of doom at the ready stalks those survivors (Devon Sawa, Ali Larter, Kerr Smith and more) one by one in the gory, gleeful shocker that launched the fright-filled film series. Final Destination: the start of it all! No extras or tech specs revealed yet.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Tim Burton’s sci-fi movie Mars Attacks!, and IGN has announced this afternoon that the film is being celebrated with a brand new 4K release.
When can you expect it? IGN reports, “Mars Attacks! will be available for purchase digitally in 4K Ultra HD and on 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc on August 11, 2026.”
