Concept Art From ‘World War Z’

Published

Beyond the break you can check out a really, really cool piece of concept art from Paramount Pictures’ adaptation of World War Z, which is being helmed by Marc Forster. The book is a sober telling of the aftermath of a war fought against a legion of humans who were inflicted with a virus, died and were reanimated into flesh-eating zombies. “World War Z” will be published in the fall by Crown. Written by the author of the satire “The Zombie Survival Guide.”
io9 found the following art and word from artists Daniel LuVisi, but you can read a full interview with LuVisi here:

This is the image I did, to get on the film World War Z with Marc Forster, director of Quantum of Solace. Can’t say whats going on or what the outcome is right now, but it’s not in the negative zone 🙂

This was one of the most difficult images I’ve ever done. Incredibly challenging to the point where I wanted to quit. But through thick and thin I forced myself to complete it.
