Splice, Mandy Lane and Clock Tower Get Tentative Dates

While these dates are FAR from set in stone, here is the tentative line-up for Senator Entertainment. First, the long-delayed and highly anticipated All the Boys Love Mandy Lane could get a theatrical run come July of 2009 (I know you’re skeptical, so am I); the Guillermo del Toro produced, Vincenzo Natali (Cube) directed sci-fi horror flick Splice is aiming for release in September of 2009; lastly, Clock Tower, the big-screen adaptation of the Capcom best-selling survival videogame franchise that will be directed by Martin Weisz, is looking for a 2010 release. ‘Her Private Hell’ Gets a New Poster Celebrating the Film’s ‘R’ Rating

Sophie Thatcher stars in Nicolas Winding Refn’s new genre movie Her Private Hell, and a brand new official poster has been released by distributor NEON this afternoon.

The new poster celebrates the MPA rating the film received this week.  Her Private Hell is rated ‘R’ for “some strong/bloody violence, sexual content, and language.”

Nicolas Winding Refn’s Her Private Hell will be released in theaters July 24 via Neon.

In the film, when a mysterious mist engulfs a futuristic metropolis, unleashing a deadly and elusive entity, a troubled young woman searches for her father. Her quest collides with an American GI on a harrowing odyssey to rescue his daughter from Hell.

Sophie Thatcher (“Yellowjackets”), Charles Melton (“Riverdale”), Kristine Froseth (How to Blow Up a Pipeline), Havana Rose Liu (No Exit), and Diego Calva (Babylon) star.

The ensemble also includes Dougray Scott (Hitman), Aoi Yamada (Perfect Days), Shioli Kutsuna (Deadpool & Wolverine), and Hidetoshi Nishijima (Shin Ultraman).

Nicolas Winding Refn directs Her Private Hell from a script he co-wrote with Esti Giordani (“Vida”). Pino Donaggio (Carrie, Don’t Look Now) composed the score.

Refn produces under his byNWR Originals banner. Executive producers include Takuma Takasaki, Kimberly Willming, Christina Erritzøe, and Lene Børglum.
