First Look: The Wolf Pack in ‘New Moon’!
A little mid-day present for you Twilight fans comes in this morning, courtesy of USA Today. Beyond the break you can take your first look at the wolf pack from New Moon, the second adaptation currently lensing under the direction of Chris Weitz. In NEW MOON, Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.

Animal instincts: Paul (Alex Meraz), Sam (Chaske Spencer), Jared (Bronson Pelletier) and Embry (Kiowa Gordon), a gang of werewolves in New Moon, due Nov. 20.
Filming is underway in Texas on sci-fi horror movie Do Not Open, and Deadline reports that Freddy Carter (Five Nights at Freddy’s 2) and Lulu Wilson (The Last Temptation of Becky) will star.
They’ll be joined by Mark McKenna (The Tourist), Stelio Savante (Sarah’s Oil), Jeremy Gauna (1923), Jada Jay, Diletta Guglielmi, and singer-songwriter John Ford Coley.
The single-location supernatural thriller takes place in a remote storage facility, described as “a place of forgotten story, abandoned memories, locked metal doors, and lives people tried to leave behind.”
That’s a rather intriguing but cryptic description that gives no hint as to the supernatural aspect.
Do Not Open is described as being inspired by “cult genre movies like Christine and Videodrome.” Kristian McKay (Kill Trip) writes and directs.
With filming now underway on the sci-fi thriller, expect to hear more about Do Not Open in the coming months. Stay tuned.
