A More Violent Look at ‘While She Was Out’
Anchor Bay provided Bloody-Disgusting with an extended look at one of the kills in Susan Montford’s While She Was Out. You can check out what Kim Basinger can do with an metal tool beyond the break. In the film arriving on DVD April 28, a suburban housewife (Basinger) is forced to fend for herself when she becomes stranded in a desolate forest with four murderous thugs. What starts off as a quick trip to the mall ends in the woods with a fight for her life. All she has is a toolbox and her will to survive.
Spider One (Bury the Bride, Little Bites) is back in the director’s chair for this year’s Big Baby, a meta slasher that sees Brandon Scott (Dead to Me) puppeteering slasher kills in our exclusive teaser debut.
Brainstorm Media will release the film on VOD on August 7, 2026.
In the upcoming slasher, “A nightmare involving a maniac killer in a baby mask serves as inspiration for horror screenwriter Adam Lewis’s new script. As more nightmares, visions, and real life terror begin to challenge Adam’s sanity, he finds himself in a desperate struggle to control his writing, his reality, and who will be Big Baby’s next victim.”
