Killer Shorts trailer
Killer Shorts DVD available June 30th: Faux Pas Films is pleased to announce the DVD release of their second feature film, Killer Shorts. Killer Shorts is a new horror anthology combining three twisted tales bought together by faux horror hosts Count Balazar and Elormie.
Killer Shorts is a throwback to the old days of horror when there were hosts to introduce the macabre to the eager audiences. Influenced by Elvira, Vampira, Tales from the Crypt, Twilight Zone, Creepshow, etc, this film captures a retro feel while at the same time bringing it forward in the current horror world.
The three unique tales within the eighty-six minute feature are as follows:
PUNCTURE – Dale and Gwen are having a typical night at home. Then one phone call changes everything. Suddenly, they find themselves in a dire situation and must contend with the evil in the darkness if they ever want to see the light again. It seems vampires are real…or are they?
THE LAST RENDEZVOUS – Rubin & Samantha and Wendell & Angela are two couples who are in for the time of their lives when a scandal leads them all to an abandoned house. Now a killer stalks and terrorizes them without mercy. can they escape the masked maniac or will they die trying?
NAVSTAR – Follow many travelers as they rely on the G.P.S. system to direct them to their destinations. When these strangers all are lead to the same mysterious place, they must confront an evil that lurks and waits for fresh victims.
Killer Shorts runs 86 minutes and stars Misty Simmons-Poteet, Matthew Turner, Shauna Lafever, Nick Mathis, Ricky Long, Kayla Perkins, Jeff Davis, and Nicole Buck.
Written, Directed, and Produced by Michael Wade Johnson.
This is Michael’s second full length feature. His other work includes “Brimstone”, “God’s Hostage”, and “The Ugliest Picture”. He is currently in pre-production on a new feature film, “Into The Darkness”.

Anna Faris & Regina Hall Promise ‘Scary Movie’ Will “Offend Everyone;” New Images Revealed
The Wayans are out to cancel the Cancel Culture with Scary Movie, and the cast assures it will do just that.
“They sort of have an across-the-board style,” Anna Faris tells EW. “It’s always been a part of the Wayans Brothers, their electricity. ‘Can we offend you? Will you still love us? Come on, you still love us, don’t you?'”
Regina Hall concurs, promising the “boundary-pushing” sixth installment in the horror parody franchise will “offend everyone.”
EW has shared a batch of behind-the-scenes images from Scary Movie, which hits theaters June 5 via Paramount.
Faris and Hall are joined by fellow franchise favorites Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, and Jon Abrahams in the legacy sequel.
The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.
Michael Tiddes (A Haunted House) directs from a script by Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, original Scary Movie director Keenen Ivory Wayans, Craig Wayans (Scary Movie 2), and Rick Alvarez (A Haunted House).
The film will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final.
Scary Movie launched in 2000, followed by Scary Movie 2 in 2001. The Wayans’ involvement ended there, but the series continued with 2003’s Scary Movie 3, 2006’s Scary Movie 4, and 2013’s Scary Movie 5.
