The boys over at Cinema Blend are reporting that the Weinstein Company is planning on rebooting the Scary Movie franchise. They claim that the Weinsteins are still planning on making Scary Movie 5, which would be released after Scream 4 hits theaters, for obvious reasons. I guess the idea would be to start it over again without the Wayans brothers and regular star Anna Faris? I guess this makes sense for the Weinsteins as the Scary Movie franchise is one of their most profitable. People like fart jokes I guess?
