CNN Spotlights Christopher Lee, Who Talks Modern Horror

While CNN is turning into TMZ, they still occasionally have a great feature that’s worth noting. Today their online arm posted a special interview with horror legend Christopher Lee, best remembered at Count Dracula in an array of Hammer films. Right off the bat CNN makes Lee look like he’s appalled by modern horror. “I find it quite nauseating what they do,” Lee told CNN. “The blood is all over the screen like an avalanche — the mutilation — dreadful things, and I just don’t enjoy that.” He continues, “What you don’t see is far more frightening than what you do see,” said Lee, who considers Roman Polanski’s 1968 supernatural thriller “Rosemary’s Baby” the scariest film he’s ever seen.
