Embodiment of Evil, the incredible third film in José Mojica Marins’ Coffin Joe trilogy, has been acquired by Synapse Films for distribution here in the States (finally!). There’s talk of a limited theatrical run, although nothing has been confirmed just yet. “You heard it here first… Synapse Films is proud to announce EMBODIMENT OF EVIL for Blu-Ray and DVD in 2010. More details to come…,” Synapse writes on their official Twitter page. In the bloody and disgusting film the gravedigger Zé do Caixão continues his search for the perfect woman to bear his son. Bwahahahahaha!
