John Conway (editor of Sick Girl) checked in with BD to tell us about his recently completed indie horror short entitled Blockhead. It screened at the Phoenix Fear Film Festival this past weekend and won best short film. John, an old mason who suffers from a disease after years of working with concrete, is locked up in the family bookstore. His younger brother Dave, who takes care of John and the bookstore, moonlights as an accomplice to John’s murderous habit.
