‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Trailer Debut March 11, 10 Second Teaser NOW

Published

on

Update: 10-second teaser available inside. Continuing to keep our Twilight news to an absolute minimum (we listen to your feedback!), we’ll pretty much only be reporting on major info such as trailer, poster and (exciting – if there’s such a thing) new image debuts. So here’s a quicky for you sparkly folks among the BD crowd. Summit Entertainment will debut the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse this Thursday, March 11 at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM EST via satellite to media (I’m assuming this means a massive launch to everyone?). Prior to this, on Wednesday, March 10 a (super annoying) 10-second teaser of that trailer will be available at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM EST. Obviously, the full trailer can also be seen in theatres in front of Remember Me, which also stars Robert Pattinson. The only reason I personally want to view the footage is to see what director David Slade (30 Days of Night, Hard Candy) was able to conjure up. Thoughts?

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between Edward and Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The film is directed by David Slade, based on the novel “Eclipse” by Stephenie Meyer, with a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. U.S. release via Summit Entertainment, June 30, 2010.

To date, THE TWILIGHT SAGA has grossed over a billion dollars worldwide.

Matilda Firth Joins the Cast of Director Leigh Whannell’s ‘Wolf Man’ Movie

Filming is underway on The Invisible Man director Leigh Whannell’s Wolf Man for Universal and Blumhouse, which will be howling its way into theaters on January 17, 2025.

Deadline reports that Matilda Firth (Disenchanted) is the latest actor to sign on, joining Christopher Abbott (Poor Things),  Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel), and Sam Jaeger.

The project will mark Whannell’s second monster movie and fourth directing collaboration with Blumhouse Productions (The Invisible Man, Upgrade, Insidious: Chapter 3).

Wolf Man stars Christopher Abbott as a man whose family is being terrorized by a lethal predator.

Writers include Whannell & Corbett Tuck as well as Lauren Schuker Blum & Rebecca Angelo.

Jason Blum is producing the film. Ryan Gosling, Ken Kao, Bea Sequeira, Mel Turner and Whannell are executive producers. Wolf Man is a Blumhouse and Motel Movies production.

In the wake of the failed Dark Universe, Leigh Whannell’s The Invisible Man has been the only real success story for the Universal Monsters brand, which has been struggling with recent box office flops including the comedic Renfield and period horror movie The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Giving him the keys to the castle once more seems like a wise idea, to say the least.
