Abby and Owen Meet in Second ‘Let Me In’ Pic

Inside you’ll find your first look at Kodi Smit-McPhee as Owen as he talks to vampire Abby (Chloe Moretz) in Overture and Hammer Films’ Let Me In, which arrives in theaters October 1. Based on the bestselling Swedish novel, “Lat den Ratte Komma In” (“Let the Right One In”), by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, Let Me In follows an alienated 12-year-old boy who befriends a mysterious young newcomer in his small New Mexico town, and discovers an unconventional path to adulthood. Directed by filmmaker Matt Reeves (Cloverfield), take a peak at the first image of Chloe Moretz as Abby here.
We tried to create the approaching, foreboding dread of movies like ‘The Shining,’ where you feel like something wicked is unraveling and it’s not going to end well,” Reeves tells the LA Times. “That’s what I responded to about the original, the juxtaposition of those tones, this very disturbing story but at the center of it there are these very tender emotions. That’s a very unusual mix, and that’s what drew me in and dug into me.

Zack Snyder’s two-part sci-fi epic Rebel Moon is now streaming in full on Netflix, with last year’s Part One: A Child of Fire followed by this year’s Part Two: The Scargiver.

But the Rebel Moon saga is far from over, because Zack Snyder’s Director’s Cuts of both movies are coming to Netflix. And they’re said to each be around ONE HOUR LONGER.

Of particular note, the Rebel Moon Director’s Cuts will be rated “R,” promising the bloody violence that wasn’t found in the PG-13 versions of the two movies currently on Netflix.

For starters, Rebel Moon – Part One: Director’s Cut has been rated “R” for…

“Brutal bloody violence and gore, sexual content, graphic nudity and language.”

We don’t yet have a release date for these Director’s Cuts. Stay tuned.

From Zack Snyder, the filmmaker behind 300, Man of Steel, and Army of the Dead, comes Rebel Moon, an epic science-fantasy event decades in the making.

When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge.

As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.
