SD Comic-Con ’10: ‘Mirrors II’ Trailer Debut, Comic-Con Tease!
Arriving on DVD and Blu-ray October 19 from Fox Home Entertainment is Mirrors II (read our set report), the Victor Garcia directed sequel to Alex Aja’s bloody remake from 2008. While the blood doesn’t spill until Halloween, Bloody Disgusting and Dread Central are sharing the exclusive trailer debut that you can enjoy beyond the break. In addition, inside you can take a peak at some of Fox’s Mirrors II festivities that include a truck drivin’ ’round with a teaser image! Enjoy!
“When MAX, a recovering addict, takes a job as a night time security guard job at his father’s department store, he begins to see visions of a young woman in the store’s mirrors. Unsure whether his visions are side effects of his prescription sleeping pills or actual reality, he begins to look deeper into the source of the images in the mirrors. When employees of the store turn up dead and Max is a suspect in the murders, he must expose the girl’s connection to a scandal within the department store’s walls in order to prove his innocence and put a stop to the spirits in the mirrors.”

In the documentary, “A struggling filmmaker’s opportunity collides with chaos and compromise when Sharknado’s notorious studio, The Asylum, invites him to direct a ‘mockbuster.’ With six days, a micro budget, and mounting pressure, Mockbuster is a comedic, behind-the-scenes documentary exploring the balance between low-budget filmmaking and creative ambition.”
More than just an inside look at filmmaking via low-budget film studio The Asylum, it doubles as one man’s pursuit of his dreams to charming, humorous effect.

From Executive Producer and famed documentarian David Farrier, Mockbuster opens in select theaters and on digital platforms beginning July 10.
