Premiering at the London Film4 FrightFest (August 26-30) next month is Howard J. Ford and Jonathan Ford’s The Dead, their zombie pic that heads to Africa where Lt Brian Murphy finds himself in extreme conditions and must team up with local Daniel Dembele in order for both men to try and find their way back to what is left of their lives, whilst also battling a terrifying threat from which there seems to be no escape. This evening we were provided with an exclusive look at the first of 3 behind-the-scenes featurettes. “Hopefully it gives people an insight on what a fucking nightmare it was trying to get even one shot of ‘The Dead’ in the can out there in Africa, let alone an entire move!” Howard tells BD. The North American premiere of The Dead will take place on September 24th at Fantastic Fest in Austin. The second featurette promises more gore! Watch for that soon.
