Gris Grimly, who is currently developing a stop-motion retelling of Pinocchio with Guillermo del Toro, just finished a trailer for his latest short film: Wounded Embark of the Lovesick Mind.
“Lovesick is infatuated with the one girl he believes to be his soul mate. Although Beauty, an independent playgirl thinks otherwise. Lovesick’s delusional emotions and idiosyncrasies push Beauty out of her safety zone, causing the relationship to unravel. But when Lovesick is unable to cope with the loss and falls into a downward spiral, he turns to murdering his obsession in order to keep her.”
