Fans of Primer should take note of Matt Osterman’s Phasma Ex Machina (review), a wonderfully eerie cross-genre thriller that carries strong elements of science fiction and the supernatural. Having played at the FanTasia Film Festival, Calgary Int’l Film Festival and the Fantastisk Filmfestival in Sweden, Phasma follows the lives of two brothers and an electrical engineer trying to decipher a series of strange events. Everything changes when the brothers discover that the distance between the living and the dead isn’t all that far. We just got our hands on a brand new piece of art that can be viewed beyond the break. Hopefully we’ll hear of some acquisition news soon!
