After teasing us with just a release month a few weeks ago, Universal Home Entertainment has officially announced the Devil Blu-Ray and DVD for December 21, almost 3 months to the day of when it hit the big screen. Shyamalan’s return to horror (in a producing and story capacity, that is) was a lot better than most people expected, carrying a Twilight Zone vibe and portraying a pretty decent game of 10 Little Indians. Specs are somewhat scarce for the release, and I’m absolutely perplexed by the uHear function, which was apparently included on Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood. Is this better than just rewinding it yourself? Can someone explain?
