Devon Sawa Lands Second Horror Gig, ‘Sibling’
After a troubled youth, Final Destination star Devon Sawa is making a horror comeback. Already locked in for a role in 388 Arletta Avenue đ, he’s now starring in another indie by the name of Sibling. Directed by Matt Orlando, Michael Clarke Duncan (The Island, Planet of the Apes, The Green Mile) and Mischa Barton (Homecoming, The Sixth Sense) also star. Duncan, who arrived Monday in Pittsburgh for the shoot, plays a principal. Barton is a guidance counselor, and Sawa is a local police officer. Details are slim but it states that it’s a “whodunit” that takes place a school. Silbing will wrap filming around Christmas.

‘Drop’ – Violett Beane Joins the Cast of Christopher Landon’s New Thriller
Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.
The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.
Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (âWhite Lotusâ) will be leading the cast.
Landon recently teased on Twitter, âThis is my love letter to DePalma.â
Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.
Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller â âwho brought the script in to Platinum Dunesâ â are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.
