John Carpenter’s The Ward’ in Theaters April 15? New Clips
Either something is wrong, or the people behind XLrator Media are doing a horrid job of promoting their big acquisition, John Carpenter’s The Ward (review), which is listed as being released on April 15.
While we attempt to firm up this date, inside you’ll find a trio of clips (unfortunately in Italian), ones of which features Amber Heard showering. My only thoughts were, “Turn around, TURN AROUND!”
“The story follows a girl (Heard) who is admitted to a psychiatric ward, meets other girls there with distinct personalities and discovers a mysterious girl haunting the halls at night.”
Blumhouse is bringing killer doll M3GAN back to the screen in M3GAN 2.0 in 2025, and Deadline reports today that Ivanna Sakhno (Let It Snow, “Ahsoka”) has signed on to star.
Ivanna Sakhno is said to have a “major role” in the upcoming sequel.
The follow-up from Universal and Blumhouse will release in theaters on May 16, 2025.
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are back for the sequel, with Akela Cooper (Malignant, M3GAN) once again writing the script and James Wan on board to produce.
