Looks like Resident Evil: Retribution is heading to Russia during principal photography, according to star Milla Jovovich.
The actress spilled the beans on Twitter yesterday, saying “YES! WE ARE DOING A HUGE ACTION SEQUENCE IN RED SQUARE!!!!”
No word on how much will be shot there, but considering just a “huge action sequence” was mentioned, I imagine it’ll be something along the lines of the Tokyo opening in RE: Afterlife. Paul W.S. Anderson returns to the director’s chair for a September shoot.
Sony Screen Gems has locked in a September 14, 2012 date.
