Marc Forster’s World War Z continues to shoot in Glasgow (subbing for Philly, naturally) and now we have possibly one of our first looks at the Zombies responsible for the ‘Z’ bit in the title.
There’s nary a sight of Brad Pitt in these photos but we have further evidence of two things. 1. As previously suggested, this ain’t exactly in keeping with the “aftermath” nature of the book’s “oral history”. And 2? The Rolling Stones really don’t gather moss. Even when they’re dead. Kudos to AICN’s contributor for catching their likeness.
World War Z (the film, at least) concerns “United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.”
It’s scheduled open on December 21, 2012 (right when most zombies are hitting the mall).
