Flight ‘7500’ Has an Elephant in the Room



Elephant‘s Alex Frost is latest to book on flight 7500, CBS Films’ supernatural thriller that will also star Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Nicky Whelan, Christian Serratos, Jerry Ferrara and Scout Taylor-Compton.

The Grudge and Marebito director Takashi Shimizu takes the helm with The Ring‘s Roy Lee producing the supernatural thriller that follows a group of passengers who encounter whatappears to be a supernatural force while on a transpacific flight.

Kwanten and Smart will co-star as married couple Brad and Pia Martin, who board Vista Pacific Flight 7500 with their two longtime friends for a trip to Japan. Bibb is set to play Laura Baxter, a stewardess on the transpacific liner, who is involved in a complicated and secret relationship. Chung will play Suzy Lee, a newly-engaged flight attendant on Vista Pacific Flight 7500 while Serratos will co-star as Raquel Mendoza, who boards the plane after sharing a secret with her boyfriend. Taylor-Compton is set to play Jacinta Beckett, who has a unique perspective on death.

It will arrive in theaters August 31, 2012.
