We’ve received some inside Intel, which should strictly be considered rumor until we’re able to strongly confirm our source we have 100% confirmed, that the star of Pan’s Labyrinth and The New Daughter is the frontrunner to star as sexy bad girl “Chris” in Screen Gems and MGM’s Carrie remake.

If cast, the 18-year-old Spaniard would star alongside Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore, Alex Russell and Ansel Elgort in the reboot directed by Kimberly Peirce for release on March 15, 2013. Moretz stars as the title character.
