Gold Circle Planning ‘The Haunting in Connecticut’ Sequel
We learned this weekend that Gold Circle Films is already planning a sequel to The Haunting in Connecticut, which Lionsgate will be releasing in theaters on June 19. The planned sequel to the Peter Cornwell directed film starring Virginia Madsen, Tim Metcalfe, Elias Koteas, Martin Donovan and Kyle Gallner is said to take new occupants into a haunted house where they are “terrorized”. No writer or direct have been attached to the project yet, they’ll probably just hold until they see how the film does at the box office. Check out the trailer for the first film.
Blumhouse is bringing killer doll M3GAN back to the screen in M3GAN 2.0 in 2025, and Deadline reports today that Ivanna Sakhno (Let It Snow, “Ahsoka”) has signed on to star.
Ivanna Sakhno is said to have a “major role” in the upcoming sequel.
The follow-up from Universal and Blumhouse will release in theaters on May 16, 2025.
Allison Williams and Violet McGraw are back for the sequel, with Akela Cooper (Malignant, M3GAN) once again writing the script and James Wan on board to produce.

Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems—a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
