While we just posted our report from the set of Hatchet II, Starz/Anchor Bay Entertainment has officially announced Hatchet: Unrated Director’s Cut for a high-definition Blu-ray release on September 7, reports High Def Digest. The cult horror/comedy stars Kane “Jason Voorhees” Hodder, Robert “Freddy Krueger” Englund and Tony “Candyman” Todd. Specs and supplements haven’t been revealed yet, but suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $29.97. “When a motley crew of tourists on a Haunted Swamp Tour wind up stranded, their night of comedic spooks quickly roller-coasters into a horrific nightmare as they struggle to escape the swamp alive…and with all of their pieces.
