Sonia Braga (Kiss of the Spider Woman) is the latest addition to the cast of Sony PIctures’ Elysium, which is now slated for release on March 1, 2013, reports Deadline.
Elysium is the top secret sci-fi project from District 9 director Neill Blomkam that also stars Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Matt Damon, Wagner Moura and William Fichtner.
The story is said to be set in the far future on another planet and, like District 9, which is filled with many sociopolitical ideas wrapped up inside a Hollywood action film.
