Thomas Haden Church has been set to star in Nothing To Fear, the first greenlit film from Slash’s (yes, the Guns N’ Roses guitarist) Slasher Films. Other partners in the production company include Michael Williams and Rob Eric.
Anthony Leonardi has been chosen to direct Nothing To Fear. Per Deadline, “The pic focuses on a family’s journey toward a better life, and how it is undone by a charismatic but unbalanced man of the cloth (Church). It’s based on an actual town purported to be one of the seven gateways to hell. The picture will begin shooting late October in Louisiana…’Our mission at Slasher Films has been to create genre films that defy the genre stereotypes,’ Slash said. ‘The team of Anthony and Thomas elevate an already frightening story with a unique vision and powerful artistry.”’
